Oak Hill Academy is a secondary school in Virginia that has produced some of the best basketball players to ever step foot in the NBA. Names like Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, Steve Blake, Rod Strickland, Jerry Stackhouse, Josh Smith, Stephen Jackson, Michael Beasley and Kevin Durant have all laced up for Oak Hill at one time or another. Another one of the schools alums is the Jordan Brand's Carmelo Anthony. With Melo on the Jordan roster, the brand has also forged a relationship with his old school in recent years. During that time, we've seen Oak Hill receive several school exclusive Jordans, the latest being the Take Flight.
The Oak Hill Take Flight features a white leather base with contrast stitching done in the school's red and gold stitching. Red also works the inner liner, tongue, laces, ankle and full-length Air unit. Gold appears on the upper lace eyelets and outsole. Finishing things up, "Oak Hill" is embroidered in red along the mudguard.
