Staying ahead of the pack and pushing the envelope yet again, Nike SB has put the innovative Lunarlon technology to work on the all new P-Rod 5. Offering a considerable increase in comfort and performance, the upcoming P-Rod 5 will feature several upgrades, including a no-sew construction, TPU reinforced suede and of course, the aforementioned Lunarlon cushioning.
Aside from the upgrade in cushioning, the P-Rod 5 will also feature a Diamond Flex outsole making for quite an improvement in traction and an overall better board feel. Several colorways are already on tap for next year, including black/white and sail/black/varsity red make ups that we are all growing used to seeing from the Paul Rodriguez footwear line.
An official release has yet to be confirmed, however we can assume we will not see the all new SB Lunarlon P-Rod 5 until sometime in 2011.
