One could make the case that the singing defining sneaker of 2010 was the "South Beach" colorway of the Nike Air Max LeBron 8. Inspired by the pastel colors that have come to represent Miami's Art-deco architecture, the shoe sold out in record time and now re-sells for at least three-times face value. Since then, we've seen the colorway turn up on releases like the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11. The latest model to join in on the "South Beach" craze is the brand new signature shoe of LeBron's teammate, Dwyane Wade.
Unlike LeBron's "South Beach" shoe, its Jordan Fly Wade counterpart is black-based. Pink Flash is used for the laces and heel-pull, while Filiment Green fills in the tongue logos and translucent outsole. A touch we didn't see on the LeBrons, Photo Blue accents the look on the rear Jumpman, tongue lining and Max Air unit.
We'll continue to keep you posted on official release details, but you can score a pair early now over at Kicks-Crew.
