Carhartt has teamed up with Vans for the summer to continue their streetwear line. Although the company has been providing work wear for the last 120 plus years, during the last decade their move into the streetwear culture has found sucess thanks to their own line and a handful of memorable collaboration efforts.
This summer with the help of Vans, Carhartt will again bring out the collaborative creativity, using the simple and sleek, Vans Authentic. This time around the two companies have chosen a mix of suede and ripstop nylon materials. The Authentic carries both Vans, and Carhartt branding, which proudly displays Carhartt's Dearborn Michigan roots. Despite their US roots, Carhartt has found most of its success in the streetwear culture in Europe.
Look for these three colorways of the Carhartt x Vans Authentic to hit select retailers in August.
