When Eminem announced the Shady Records acquisition of hiphop supergroup Slaughterhouse back in January, many enthusiasts quickly started to speculate about the possible reunion of the duo Bad Meets Evil, which consists of Em himself and Slaughterhouse member Royce da 5'9." After about a decade of not recording together, the two dropped jaws when they announced that they indeed had started to work on music as Bad Meets Evil again and officially dropped their EP Hell: The Sequel yesterday.
As Paul Wall would say, Bad Meets Evil has the "Internet going nuts," and they're about to do the same with the sneaker community. As hinted by the Shady Records Twitter account yesterday and later confirmed by Converse, a Bad Meets Evil Chuck Taylor All Star will be released in a limited run of 100 pairs this week. Featuring a black canvas upper, the shoe is covered in Bad Meets Evil and Shady Records logos on the side panels and tongues, and is finished off with white rubber toecap and sole. According to the Converse tweet, they'll only be made available in New York and Boston tomorrow (Thursday, June 16th). Not much information about the drop besides that, but we'll be sure to keep you posted her at Sole Collector.
