One of the biggest days on the sneakerhead calendar is Christmas, where several NBA ballers break out special make-ups of their signature shoes for the national spotlight. We've already seen Kobe's Grinch-inspired shoe and LeBron's festive V/2. Now here's a look at a shoe Chinese brand Anta has cooked up for Kevin Garnett's game against the Orlando Magic on Christmas Day.
The "Christmas" KG 1 is white based with dark green being the main complimentary color. Red is used for the inner liner, trim on the ankle and heel, strap and heel logos and the midsole stripe. Hits of gold appear on the top lace eyelet, Anta logo and heel. Traditional Christmas colors dominated by Celtics-friendly green. No word yet on whether or not this colorway that will drop in China.
Note: The Celtics will be traveling to Orlando on Christmas, so it's entirely possible that KG will rock a darker colorway for the game.
