words_Nick EngvallAs a designer, Tinker Hatfield has always been a legend in the sneaker community. As the 25th Anniversary of the Air Jordan line continues on, a special Tinker Hatfield edition of the Air Jordan Alpha 1 is slated to release. The updated classic comes in a simple colorway with an off white Birch upper with black midsole, Swoosh and Jordan logos. Orange Blaze adds some brightness to the extra padded collar of the Alpha version, and also finds its way into the stitching on the midsole. A clear outsole also reveals additional Orange Blaze hits thanks to the visible bottom-loaded Zoom Air bag. Overall, a nice subtle colorway to pay tribute to one of the great designers of the world.
