We're just hours from the beginning of the highly anticipated 2010 NBA free agency period. Stars are expected to switch teams at an unprecedented rate in the next couple weeks. Included in that group is LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Carlos Boozer. Even with the changes in location, it's highly likely that all of these guys will be named NBA All-Stars in 2011, when the game returns to Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Though we're still several months away from the big game, images of adidas' All-Star footwear and jerseys have already surfaced.
The jerseys are pretty much what you've come to expect. The Eastern Conference is fitted with a blue jersey, while the West will once again wear red. The East design is complimented by silver, seen on vertical stripes on the side, numbering, and the Eastern Conference logo. Metallic gold is used to accent the West jersey, visible at the same locations.
The footwear of choice is All-Star colorways of the adidas adiPure basketball sneaker. Like the recently seen Super Beast and adiZero Rose 1.5, the shoe features a breathable synthetic leather upper. Each pair is designed in the color of the corresponding jersey. However, adidas didn't stop there, as they also designed a "Laker" themed version of the adiPure for players to wear during All-Star Saturday Night.
You can expect this merchandise to be available early next year.
