This is the Nike Air Raid II. It was the second in the Air raid series and was originally released in 1993. This is the "Peace" edition and features a peace sign on the straps and "Live Together" "Play Together" on the back of each shoe. They were a general release and came in the orange/grey Nike box.
not sure which happened, but these are either wannabe AJ 8s or the 8s are wannabe Nike Air Raid II
Both designed by Tinker so kinda doesn't matter which came first. I have a feeling the Jordans came first as priority, since Tinker was heavily involved at leading the way with new #'d Jordan designs at that time and then borrowed design aspects in different shoes.
Another example is the Air Revolution that dropped in 1988 'stealing' heavily both in similarities and identical features (like the midsole) from Jordan IIIs released the year before. Same goes for the LE Trainer IIs that had the side mesh screens from Jordan IVs.
It's actually funny this doesn't happen more often these days... Was really common in the 80s & 90s.
I remember this shoe now that I'm looking at it and remember lovin it & hatin it at the same time back then. Colors were cool, peace sign was a turn off but I never bought em. No regrets tho. Not sure I'd buy today, quite frankly.

I hate the shoe shape. Dig the color way.
