Known as the "Eggplants," this original Nike Air Flightposite I returned in 2008. Their nickname comes from the shoes colorway description and has since become a commonly used nickname for various other sneakers featuring purple on them. A general release, they were available at select Nike accounts worldwide in October of 2008. Retail was $180 and, they came in the generic brown Nike Sportswear box.
