Difference between Shoes now and then:
Now: Fewer unique designs, rely on crazy colors
Then: Raw materials, look great with the simplest colors.
(I love both retros and new models, just my 2 cents)

[b]Glad I got to see & video this 1-22 set in person at Nike Portland. I'm not a big white shoe fan but these were superb. The sockliners were so plush & the black laces looked perfect. Even some of the AJ #'s I don't like looked good & ones like this XI was a dominate fav along w/the V & VI.
The use of tumbled, rather than smooth leather on the back was cool, the red soles were awesome... like reverse Black/Reds and at least the Lows will come close to mimicing these. :up:
