This is Ken Griffey Jr.'s first signature shoe. It was released in 1996. They were retroed in 2009 and are now called the "Freshwater" colorway. This was only the beginning of a very successful signature shoe line from Nike.

Freshwater griffeys, very nice. I think these shoes put griffeys on the map. No one was really messing with then until these dropped. But again, nice colorway, and somewhat comfortable.7.
