Air Jordan XVI Black/Varsity Red

The Air Jordan XVI debuted on MJ's birthday in 2001. This had many people calling it the "birthday" Jordan's. They retailed for $160, which was a $10 price jump from the Jordan XV. A unique feature is that they feature a removable shroud that when on covers the upper completely. But, since it was removable it gave the owner the option to wear it either with it on, without it on, or a combination of both. Whatever you preference might've been. This colorway was retroed in 2008 as a part of the Jordan VII/XVI Collezione (Countdown) Package.
