This was the second colorway of the Air Jordan VI released. They are known as the "infrared's" due the colorway description for this shoe. These were retroed in 2000, and although they were labeled a Retro+, they remained true to the OG's with "Nike Air" on the back. 2010 saw them get released again. Some people consider the black/varsity red a retro of these, but then once they were released as part of the special two shoe Jordan VI Infrared Pack, others disregard the "varsity red's."
