1988 showcased many new beginnings for the Air Jordan line. The debut of Mars Blackmon, cement print and the Jumpman logo to name a few. With the "wings" logo gone, the Jumpman is the new logo for Air Jordan. These were also the first basketball sneaker to have a "window" on them showing the air unit in the heel. These came in a black/red box with a big red Jumpman on the top. Retail was once again $100, and these came packaged with a Flight Club catalog. This colorway was retroed in 1994 and then again in 2003 and 2011. The '94 retro was the last to feature "Nike Air" on the back, as a Jumpman replaced it on the '03 and '11 versions.
