This was the last Air Jordan IX Retro colorway released in 2002. It was inspired by the "Cool Grey" Air Jordan XI Retro released a year prior. These are also known as the "Cool Grey's." They feature nubuck on the upper which was a first for the IX, along with patent leather and a smokey grey gum outsole. Retail on these was $125 and they were a general release. They came with a retro card in the Jordan face box.
These are a pair of neck breakers ! They feature a light grey durabuck upper surrounded by a darker grey patent leather, which definitely draws attention to the shoe. The white outsole definitely contrast from the rest of the shoe, which also catches your eye.
