Known as the "Green Bean's," this was the first general released colorway of the Air Jordan V Retro released in 2006. There was quite a dilemma in the sneaker world regarding these. First samples were shown of them featuring an all 3M reflective like upper (a first for the B), and then featuring a full nubuck upper. But at the end of the day, the released version had the reflective upper. At least, in men's sizes. All the kid's sizes featured the nubuck upper. They retailed for $135 and came in the black/silver Jordan box along with lacelocks and a retro card.
very nice shoe, great colorway, and only one of two jordan 5s with the whole shoe being 3m material, which gives that shiney look, unlike all the other jordan 5s that only have the 3m tounge.
Very nice sneaker. One of the only shoes where the whole base was 3m and not just the tounge. Sneakers dropped in 2006, and people were super attracted to them. Whole shoe in a grey 3m, and darker grey on the midsole, the the WWII fighter strips in green. Very nice colorway.
