This original Air Jordan XII colorway was retroed in 2004. It was released on Valentine's Day of that year alongside a women's colorway. These are known as "Playoff's." They retailed for $135 and were a general release. These came in the Jordan face box along with a retro card.

My second favorite colorway of XIIs behind the white and reds. The 'Playoffs' are made of nice materials and are extremely comfortable. The shoes have zoom air and it is noticeable when wearing them. I like this color better than the reverse colorway of white and black, or the "Taxis." The white portion on the midsole gets dirty easily and is hard to keep clean and that can be annoying. The ankle support is good if you plan to play ball in these and the soles on the bottom are very durable. I'm a big fan of XIIs and this is a great colorway in my opinion.

Can anyone tell me if and what the difference on the 97's and 04's are i have been wearing my pair for the last month and i know i bought these in 97' and i dont think i bought these in 04' and i was wondering if i have been wearing a og pair?
